Holi - 8th December 2016

Holi is a hindu festival that is also known as the festival of colours. It signifies the beginning of spring.

According to Hindu Mythology it is believed that the Gods Radha and Krishna celebrated by throwing coloured powders on each other.

Similarly on the occasion of Holi people celebrate by wearing white clothes and throwing coloured powders on each other.

In London a popular way to celebrate holi is the HOLI ONE Colour FESTIVAL.   This is not connected to the religious aspect although it does promote the similar concept of using colours in life and  friendship.

The event also provides you with wristband that one can keep as a memory.
